We are a body of believers who desire to do God's will. What started as a few families meeting in homes quickly formed into a vibrant church plant. In November of 2023, we began meeting each Sunday at a venue located in downtown Monticello. God continued to bless us by bringing people who want to be a part of SGBC. In March of 2024, we moved into a building at 1500 N. Main St., and in September of 2025, celebrated our 2nd anniversary as a church plant. We continue to see the faithfulness and grace of God to His Church.
